Keeneland, which will hold the world’s largest Thoroughbred yearling sale next month In Lexington, Ky., has announced several new technology features for the auction.
Among the new features is Keeneland Pedigree, an online catalog page The online catalog pages now include hyperlinks to sortable information about yearlings’ sires and dams, including links to race records, charts, and video replays. These features are free for horses cataloged in the two-day, 200-horse select sessions that open the auction Sept. 12-13. They are available via an EquineLine.com account on all other horses in the auction.
Keeneland also will offer free catalog updates for all horses in the auction on the online catalog pages. Later this month, links to online videos of the cataloged yearlings also will be available through Sirecam.com and ThoroStride.com.
For sellers, Keeneland offers Consignor Portfolio, designed to help consignors manage their sale stables online. The service includes functions for submitting and tracking paperwork and for viewing and printing account statements.
Keeneland’s September yearling sale will take place this year from Sept. 12-26.
