The portable rail on the turf course is set at 45 feet on the backstretch and on the turn. It narrows to 30 feet in the stretch. Niagara Thunder is scratched from the first turf race of the year in the 4th. In the other turf race, the 7th, Merkabah, The Great McGee and Good General are out.
