Favored Sand Cove hit the front early in the stretch before cruising to an easy win in the $125,400 Steady Growth Stakes. Richard Dos Ramos got a leg up from trainer Roger Attfield on Sand Cove, who covered a mile and a sixteenth in 1:42.69 in the route for Ontario-sired stock.
