Welken won her fourth race of the meeting in an optional claimer over 1 1-8 miles on turf in Thursday's seventh race, going off as the 8-5 favorite and returning $5.40.
Welken rallied from just off the pace to finish a length in front of Zilla, who set the pace.
Trained by Mike Mitchell, Welken was the second winning favorite of the pick six. Going into the last race, there are six horses that are not covered in the pick six - Follow the Crowd, Just Call'er, Go Lourdes Go, Jan the First, Binky's Sister, and Starlite Event.
