This is an intriguing 10th race coming up here. It's a turf sprint, and it does appear that nearly every horse in the race wants to be on or close to the lead. If you can find the horse who A) handles the turf and B) is able to rate early and make one late run you probably have yourself a winner. I originally liked Embroidery, the #5, who was scratched (so was #9, Midst) so I'm left with Dattt Echo (#8) and Greeley's Rocket (#2). If I can cash this ticket it will be the first of the day, which has made the oppressive humidity all the more unbearable.
In the 12th and final race, Ready to Dazzle is a key horse for me as I try to catch the last Pick 3 of the weekend. He's been away but he has a solid work pattern, and I'm expecting him to run to his best Beyers. Now, the trick is, to get alive to him, hardly a cinch the way things have gone today.
