The 6th race, for 2-year-old maidens, certainly seems to have drawn a deep field. We'll know a little bit more as to how good they are in about 15 minutes but someone seems to already know that Irish Frankie is a runner. The Wesley Ward-trained colt opened up as the favorite and he's around 7/5 at the moment. The Todd Pletcher-trained Volcker has also taken some money, and is currently 5/2, and the action on those two firsters has led to a decent price (4-1) on Chipshot, who posted a 75 Beyer in his bow. That's likely to come down. Nacho Saint, the 1A, may be the worth watching at 7-1. Ridden by Garrett Gomez and trained by Kelly Breen, Nacho Saint could be considered "cold" on the board at that price but it may just be a function of Ward and Pletcher attracting most of the money.
