Benefiting from a perfect trip behind the speeds, Congressional Page ($6.20) ran down Go Go Shoot and Mr. Fantasy to win the first stakes race of the 2010 meet, the $100,000 Decathlon Stakes. Those who rely on pace figures may disagree, since the fractions weren't all that quick compared with lesser six-furlong races on the card, but the stalkers had the edge in this one, with two pure speeds signed on.
