Alpha Lucky has not raced much in the past three years, but when he runs he makes the most of it. He was up at the wire to take the third race, a $5,000 claimer at five furlongs, in what was his first out since April 15, 2009. And that April 15, 2009 race, which he also won, was Alpha Lucky's first start since Dec. 16, 2007.
Jorge Guzman rode Alpha Lucky ($41.20) for trainer Danny Pish. The horse had last raced at Turf Paradise, with trainer Peter Miller.
