Lone Star Park will be off the turf for the Saturday twilight card that begins at 5 p.m. Central. There will be fireworks following the program. There is no word yet on the official condition of the main track, but it was listed as muddy for works this morning. It is 86 degrees, and there are just a few scratches to report.
In the eighth race, take out No. 6, Petite Riviere, and in the ninth scratch No. 3, Nora, and No. 8, Quiet Spirit.
