With jockey Luis Quinonez off his mounts for the remainder of the card due to possible arm injuries sustained in a spill in the fourth race, there are some rider changes to report. In the upcoming seventh race, Dale Cordova will be aboard No. 4, Awesome Mr G. In the eighth race, Jeremy Collier will ride No. 4, H.C. Mystery, and in the ninth race, Martin Escobar has the mount on No. 2, Wacos Cutie.
Cordova, who came out of retirement last summer and returned to riding at Remington Park, said he plans to ride weekends here for the rest of the meet that continues through July 18.
