Tom Durant will soon set a record for owner wins at a meet at Lone Star. He is one win from the mark, and after Pure Red Head ran off the board in the eighth, Durant will have to resume the chase on Friday. He has one starter on tomorrow's card, Street Cell, who runs in the eighth race. Durant has won 30 races so far this meet and on Sunday won three races to equal the mark set in 2007 by the partnership of Heflin and Driver Racing.
Just Plain Wayne upset Pure Red Head, winning her third straight race in tonight's eighth. She invaded from Louisiana Downs.
