Lone Star Park will put on its richest card of the meet Monday, when seven stakes worth $1 million will be decided. The Lone Star Million Day program drew such horses as Awesome Gem, who is nearing $2 million in career earnings, Wasted Tears, who last month took the Grade 2 Jenny Wiley at Keeneland, and El Gato Malo and Mythical Power, who are each past winners of the Lone Star Derby.
The stakes action begins with the fourth race, which has a scheduled post of 2:59 p.m. Central. The stakes will then run continuously through race 10 on the 11-race card Monday. First post is 1:35 p.m. Central.
