Dr. Payseur, a first-time starter, will have to overcome the widest post in the upcoming eighth race, a maiden special weight at seven and a half furlongs on turf that goes with 11 starters. He is currently co-favored at 5-2, and gets good pedigree support for the grass debut. His sire, More than Ready, is getting a strong 15 percent winners from his first time turfers.
Dr. Payseur also shows some nice works and hails from a hot barn as his trainer, Dallas Keen, just won the sixth race with The Difference. That race was also at two turns on the turf.
