It is about 85 degrees at Lone Star Park with an hour and a half before post for the first race. There was a brief but hard rain around 3:30 p.m., with no word yet on official track condition for the races. Right now, it remains overcast with the sun attempting to peak out from the clouds. There are just a few scratches to report at this point:
In the SECOND race, scratch No. 4, El Troubador.
In the SIXTH race, scratch the 1A, Cielo Dove, and the 2, Shirley's Brittney
In the NINTH race, scratch No. 12, Woodsy
