The trainer-jockey team of Steve Asmussen and Aaron Gryder has accounted for two of the first three races on the card. Winding Road romped by more than seven lengths in the first, one start after facing multiple stakes winner Coyote Legend in the $100,000 Texas Stallion Stakes. In the third, Unreal Rocket was a clear winner and what a class mare she is as an earner of more than $300,000.
The two will be in action in the upcoming fourth race, with leading contender Premier Edge. Asmussen also has starters in the fifth, seventh and 10th races this afternoon at Lone Star.
