Trainer Jack Bruner won his third race on the card in the seventh, when Snow Drift scored in his first start since October in a first-level allowance turf sprint. The win came on the heels of Sing Baby Sing winning in his first start since October in the sixth race. Bruner's other winner on the card came in the second, with Spring Blues.
All three horses are owned by Tom Durant, the current leading owner at the meet, and were ridden by Chris Landeros, who tops the rider standings at Lone Star. Bruner is a private trainer for Durant.
