There are two late scratches on Wednesday's opening day of the Hollywood Park spring-summer meeting, which starts at 1 p.m.
In the second race, Saint Chocolate, a 30-1 outsider, is withdrawn from a seven-furlong race for $12,500 claimers. In the fourth race, a maiden claimer over 1 1-16 miles, Flying Suances, a 5-1 chance, is withdrawn, leaving a field of eight.
Conditions are partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 60s. There was some light rain on Tuesday, but none so far this morning.
