Ultra Awesome, the 3-5 favorite winning favorite in Thursday's first race, was claimed in a four-way shake for $10,000 by trainer Tim Yakteen. Ultra Awesome was an easy winner of the race over 6 1-2 furlongs by 4 1-4 lengths over Dona Mary.
Ultra Awesome raced for Yakteen from January until May 28 when she was claimed for $8,000. The 4-year-old filly has won 4 of 6 starts this year.
For Sure For Sure, who finsihed third, was claimed by Ted H. West in a two-way shake. She has been in the top three in her last five starts, all for low claiming prices.
