There are five late scratches on Thursday's eight-race program at Hollywood Park. Racing begins at 7:05 p.m. Devo are conducting a concert after the races. It's not often you can bet a trifecta on a live horse race and listen to Devo in person on the same evening.
As for the scratches, in the second race, Malone Slam is withdrawn from an optional claimer over six furlongs on turf. In the sixth race, J C General is out of a six-furlong race for $10,500 to $12,500 claimers.
In the eighth race, Silver Style, Dr. Chen, and Why Trust are withdrawn from a maiden claimer over 5 1-2 furlongs.
