Terrify, dismissed at 9-1, pulled an upset in Wednesday's third race, the first leg of the pick six. Ridden by Brice Blanc, Terrify ($21.60) stalked Privalova to early stretch and held off a late threat from Appealing Afare to win by a neck.
Terrify ended a three-race losing streak for trainer Steve Knapp, and was his sixth winner from 30 starters at this meeting. A Clever Ten, the 3-5 favorite, was in traffic on the backstretch and closed some ground to finish third, never looking like a winner.
Terrify won the first leg of a pick six that attracted $168,565 in bets.
