Success Again, wearing blinkers for the first time, set the pace, and held off an unlucky On a Hi to win Wednesday's fourth race for 2-year-old maiden claimers.
Success Again ($8.20) ran five furlongs in 59.39 seconds. Trained by Doug O'Neill, Success Again was seventh and fifth in his first two starts at this meeting in May.
On a Hi was second and sixth in two starts in maiden special weight races in May and dropped into a $40,000 claimer for maidens for the first time on Wednesday. He broke from post 9 in a field of 10 and raced extremely wide, entering the stretch in the six path.
