Warren's Willtowin, who won Saturday's second race for maiden claimers over 6 1-2 furlongs as the 4-5 favorite, was euthanized after the race with an injury to his left foreleg, according to track stewards.
Warren's Willtowin snuck through on the inside to finish 4 3-4 lengths ahead of Skypirate.
After the race, Leandro Mora, assistant trainer to Doug O'Neill, lodged an objection against the winner, alleging interference in early stretch. O'Neill trains runner-up Skypirate. The stewards dismissed the foul claim after a four-minute review, stating that Skipirate was responsible for contact between the first two finishers.
Warren's Willtowin was trainer Jorge Gutierrez's second winner of the meeting from 38 starters.
