A Sassy Fusichi finished a half-length in front of Kaylie's Joy, who was a half-length in front of Dreams Afleet. Kaylie's Joy was claimed in a three-way shake by Bob Hess, Jr.
Rosario, the leading rider by three victories over Rafael Bejarano through Thursday's seventh race, rides the 7-2 shot Lemony Fresh in the eighth race, a sprint over six furlongs on turf for maidens. Bejarano rides MalibuPier. Trainer Bob Baffert, who had two winners earlier on Thursday's card, starts Onenightin Beijing.
