Joel Rosario has stormed to the lead in the jockey's standings of the spring-summer meeting this weekend.
After winning four races on Saturday, Rosario had three wins on Sunday. Through Sunday, Rosario has won 64 races, holding a two-race advantage over previous leader Rafael Bejarano. Tyler Baze was third with 58 wins.
Sunday, Rosario won the fourth race aboard Miss Manhattan ($16.20) and the last two races - on Pure Class ($6.40) and D'pendable ($8.60).
D'pendable was the subject of a steward's inquiry into the stretch run of the ninth race, a five-furlong maiden race for 2-year-olds on turf. The inquiry focused on why runner-up Robie the Cat ducked toward the inside in the final furlong, but the stewards ruled that no blame could be attached to the incident.
