Ron Bob and Dave won his first start since April in a $35,000 to $40,000 claimer in Sunday's first race that featured only four entrants. Hewitts was scratched Sunday morning, and Dream Now was scratched at the gate after putting his leg over an adjacent stall.
Ron Bob and Dave ($3.20) ran six furlongs on turf in 1:09.30, finishing a neck in front of Uncle Jeep, who set the pace.
