Buenos Dias ($16.40) won his first start in the United States in Thursday's third race, his eighth start for trainer Ron McAnally since arriving from France in late 2008.
Buenos Dias won the first leg of a pick six that began with a carryover of more than $93,000. Bettors added $510,981 on Thursday.
Buenos Dias, who was ridden by Brice Blanc, ran 1 1-2 miles on turf in 2:26.76, winning by 2 1-4 lengths over Romp. Falcon Rock, the 4-5 favorite, could only finish third, offering no major threat in the stretch.
