Trainer Doug O'Neill won a two-way shake for Malusita, the front-running winner of Sunday's third race for $22,500 to $25,000 claimers.
Malusita ($11.60) won the race over 1 1-16 miles by a half-length over Wood Art for trainer Sal Gonzalez. A 4-year-old filly, Malusita has won 5 of 30 starts. Sunday's race was her second win at the meeting; she won a $12,500 claimer on May 16. Malusita will now race for Great Friends Stable.
Malibu Artiste, who was sent off as the 6-5 favorite but could only finish fourth, was claimed by A.C. Avila on behalf of Roddy Valente, who campaigns in California and New York.
