Lana's Smile, who finished second in Wednesday's third race for 2-year-old maiden claimers, was claimed for $40,000 by Craig Lewis. Making her debut, Lana's Smile finished three-quarters of a length behind Bronster ($12.40), who ran 4 1-2 furlongs in 52.85.
Lana's Smile is a Florida-bred by Trippi, who was bred by previous owner Meadowbrook Farms.
Bronster is by Terrell, and races for Sunset Stable and trainer Adam Kitchingman. Bronster is entered in the Barretts May Sale of 2-year-olds in-training in Pomona, Calif., on May 10.
