Hyades was an unlucky fourth in Saturday's 10th race. Ridden by Joel Rosario, Hyades was beaten a length by Riviera Cocktail ($7.40) but was closing with a fury along the rail in the final furlong.
Hyades was stuck behind horses in early stretch before launching his rally. Riviera Cocktail had a better trip, closing ground on the outside under jockey Rafael Bejarano, who had three wins in the first 10 races on Saturday's card.
