After favorites swept the first three races on Wednesday's eight-race program, Gotham Devil prevailed comfortably in a maiden race for $40,000 claimers in the fourth race. Warren's Tommy Too, the 6-5 favorite, could only manage third in the race over 1 1-16 miles.
The first three races were won by Gab Power ($6.20), Super Sophie ($3.20), and Subsidized ($5.40). None of those performances were exceptional, but the first half of this program was never going to be a hot-bed for quality.
