A Sassy Fusaichi, the winner of the race over 7 1-2 furlongs by a half-length, was taken by Jack Carava, for his private client, La Canada Stable. Enumclaw Girl was taken by Doug O'Neill on behalf of a partnership.
A Sassy Fusaichi ($5.80) was previously trained by Mike Mitchell. The 5-year-old mare has won 5 of 13 starts, including three of her last five. She was a good claim for Mitchell, who took her for $10,000 at Santa Anita in February and subsequently won claiming races at values of $22,500, $28,000 and Saturday's race for $25,000.
