Spirit of Cochise, Buck's Bro and Usurp, the first three finishers in Saturday's third race, were each claimed for $40,000.
Spirit of Cochise, who won the six-furlong race by a length in 1:09.36, was taken in a two-way shake by Bob Hess, Jr., his second claim of the day. Runner-up Buck's Bro was claimed by trainer William E. Morey.
Usurp was claimed in a two-way shake by Jack Carava, who saddld Spirit of Cochise.
