Came Aboard, the even-money favorite, took the lead when it counted the most in Sunday's second race, right at the wire.
Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Came Aboard ($) was fifth for much of the one-mile turf race for $40,000 claimers, and caught Siete Machos in the final stride to win by a head.
The winner was claimed by Doug O'Neill on behalf of owner Paul Reddam. Came Aboard has won 2 of 8 starts. He was eighth in the Grade 1 Norfolk Stakes at Santa Anita in 2009.
