There was a racing rarity in Saturday's second race, two 6-5 shots in a field of seven - Melon Up and Girlwiththegoldhoof. They finished second and third behind Saanneen ($17.80) in a maiden claimer over six furlongs.
Girlwiththegoldhoof was 2-1 as the field entered the gate, and was bet down late.
Saanneen, trained by Leonard Powell, was making her first start since September, third start of her career, and drew off in the stretch to win by 3 1-2 lengths, finishing inn 1:10.34.
