Appealing Afare, a maiden entered for a $50,000 claiming price, has been the subject of a $100,000 show bet for Saturday's second race, which will be run in 22 minutes.
Trained by Bob Baffert, Appealing Afare is making her fourth start. She was second and third in maiden special weight races and was third in a $75,000 claimer for maidens at Santa Anita.
