As much as I'd love to take a POV contrary to M Watch -- I can't. Right now, it's three outsides to one inside in the first four races, and the shape of just-completed race 4 definitely looked bad rail-y. Duly noted that Nakatani on pace-setting Macjoey for Asmussen seemed to take care to stay wide into the stretch. But not wide enough, with Wise Dan, drawn farthest outside, moving much the best while probably five wide in the lane. Six furlongs on 1:09.55 for a moderate-looking bunch of N1X alw. horses means this sloppy track is FAST.
