There has been a bit of a let up in the rain here, but no one really expects that to continue. There was heavy rain here overnight and early this morning, which makes me wonder if the weatherman who said in a press conference here yesterday that it wouldn't start raining here in earnest until 10 this morning was the only one who was saying something Churchill Downs wanted to hear, something like getting a fifth opinion from a doctor. Just kidding. Not really. Anyway, we're sealed and sloppy, and races 3 and 5 are off the turf.
