She only won by less than two lengths but Pica Slew's victory in the Leave Me Alone Stakes was as easy as it gets with jockey Manoel Cruz never letting the lightly raced filly run a jump for the entire six furlongs. The win was the second in just three starts for the daughter of Pico Central who went to the gate 7-5 but closed at 4-5 and was worth every penny of it. She also stamped herself the early favorite for the Grade 3 Azalea on July 10.
