In what amounted to a pretty tough call, the stewards opted to disqualify REgina Twain from a game victory in the NOble Robyn Stakes and elevate runner-up Trip For A J to the top spot. Doing so despite never having posted an inquiry into the race. Regina Twain held off Trip For A J to register a narrow decision although did drift in deep stretch to seemingly b rush that rival apparoaching the wire although jockey Javier Santiago never stopped riding A J at any point. He then took a shot by claiming foul and was awarded with the win. As for the 4-5 favorite Musical Romance, she was all but eliminated on the first turn when jockey Angel Moreno took a left hand turn on She's Trippin North and ran M.R. into the inside hedge.
