The main track has been upgraded from sloppy to good and has started to favor speed with front runners capturing each of the last three races including Steppin Honor's runaway victory in the seventh which gave jockey Wilmer Galviz just his second win from nearly 70 mounts at the meet. Apprentice Angel Moreno the riding star up to this point with three victories and mounts in each of the last three races on the card.
