A couple of horses who have never shown any ability to stay two turns both wired their fields and were drawing away at the end of the early daily double, the 10-1 Concerto's Song in the opener and 4-1 Aunt Ann in the second. A light rain began to fall at the beginning of the second race and is picking up in steam as they return to the winners circle. The main track was called "good" for the first two races but was closer to "fast" in my book although it's likely to be downgraded shortly if this shower continues.
