Still kicking myself for not playing the 9th race after picking the exacta cold with first time starters Gourmet Dinner(9-1) and Mucho Macho Man(7-1) who combined for a $132 ticket. Too many other options in the race which went in 1:11 and change and may prove to be a key race before too long.
NO contest again for Dash Dot Dash in the Our Dear Peggy. The 1-5 favorite crushed five overmatched rivals, her task made all the easier when allowed to dawdle on the front end over a speed favoring strip. She's now won three in a row since being claimed and switched to Marty Wolfson barn and four straight all together, her trio of local tallies coming by an average win margin of more than seven lengths.
