Expected Truly Classy to be favored in the eighth race but couldn't believe she was 1-5 for most of the wagering and closed at 3-5. As it was, she was all out to win the weak maiden special weight dash just outlasting Jill's Dancer who would have gotten the money if she'd just changed leads somewhere through the stretch. Final eighth of a mile of this one was a pathetic 14 and change.
A really interesting MSW dash for boys on tap. Several of the firsters in here have worked well although surprised to see Conway Hillbilly the 2-1 favorite at this point and Chateau D'Kim 5-2 off a very ordinary debut . Newbies Gourmet Dinner, Mucho Macho Man and Exley all figure to get bet as well off some decent a.m. activity while experienced runners Chon and Casino Mick cannot be ignored either. None of them have been six furlongs which makes this contest an even bigger guessing game.
