Although trainer Wesley Ward's Onlyoneanna took most of the early money, it was noted here that Cathy's Crunches was also getting some play. When the smoke cleared, Onlyoneanna went postward the 8-5 second choice in the seventh race with Cathy's Crunches drifting to 5-1 and ultimately drawing off to an easy win over the 1-1 moneyburner Daisey Lee with Ward's 2-year-old finishing third after encountering a bit of trouble on the turn. Cathy's Crunches also accomplished something we haven't seen here in a while from a 2-year-old, breaking :59 for five furlongs. Would have been a nice claim for $25,000.
