Trainer Bill Kaplan unleased a pretty nice juvenile filly, Pretty Exgtravagant, who won her debut in impressive fashion from off the pace under jockey Juan Leyva. The race was marred when Misscoolslewtoyou broke down shortly past the finish line and had to be vanned off. Vencedora Girl set the pace and finished second for the second time in as many starts. The others were far back.
