The hot horse in the finale, Blondie Ruth, actually ran to her slow works breaking tardily and failing to meance at any time over the sloppy track. Good news for those who wagered on Madame G G who defied the track bias and rallied from off the pace to run down I Love Gaby who appeared home free after drawing clear in early stretch.
Another good day for front runners both before and after the rain. Continuing a trend that has prevailed here for the better part of the last couple of weeks.
