What appears to be a $1,500 win bet has first time starter True Religion opening at 1/5 in the eighth race. The 3-year-old filly comes in with two very fast works on the resume' at the farm but an ordinary half mile gate work here which I saw last week. Will be interesting to see what transpires as the wagering continues.
As predicted, the stewards quickly dismissed both unwarranted claims of foul in the previous race.
