Turf "good" rail lane 2. Ummmm -- probably not. Race 2, for $25K maidens, was on grass, and pace-setter posted fractions of 23.97 for opening quarter, 47.70 to half, on way to final time of 1:38.82 for one mile, with winning chalk Bullstar having sat just off the pace. Course is definitely good-to-firm, if not outright firm.
On Poly, quicker pace than typical of last several weeks in both races 1 and 3, though final times fell into about an average range.
