Weather-wise, the wind has picked up somewhat, probably blowing about 10 mph straight from the east (tail-wind).
No bias, and also no fast times (no fast horses, either) -- at least not till race 6. This was an off-the-turf N1X alw. at 5fs, and Havelock was a sharp winner for trainer Darrin Miller, jock Jesus Castanon. Tracked nicely, burst to lead in mid-stretch, cruised under wire, solid gallop out for fourth-time starter. Final time 57 and change.
Coming up to race 7, an impossible Illinois N1X allowance. Turf racing starts in the 8th, and will give course update after that heat.
