Catching up on the day, no major surprises -- and a turf course playing as fast as I can recall the last several years. If you walked over the hard ground in Chicagoland right now, you'd understand.
Dee's Rose was so much the best in featured race 5 it wasn't even funny. She checked so hard she almost went down before the half-mile pole in a turf sprint, then was in tight much of the far turn, and still appeared to get her nose down in front of Dashel. Somehow lost the photo, but is definitely worth a long look wherever she shows up next (barring Europe).
